Are you a creative results-oriented individual with a passion for digital storytelling? Do you possess the skills to translate complex topics into engaging digital content? If so, we invite you to join our dynamic communications team at Lancashire County Council as our Digital Content Creator.
This is a new role for our team and one where you will play a key role in developing and implementing a comprehensive video content strategy. You will conceptualise, script, film, edit, and publish high-quality video content that resonates with our various audiences and showcases our council services and initiatives.
Your writing skills will extend beyond video, allowing you to develop compelling written content for various digital materials, including web content and social media posts, and you will have an excellent working knowledge of marketing and communication principles. To stay ahead of the curve, you will keep abreast of the latest digital content trends and techniques and recommend innovative approaches to maximise our engagement activity.
Equipped with skills in design and content editing tools, you will create visually appealing digital content and strategically repurpose existing materials for optimal reach. A collaborative approach is vital to your success, and you will work effectively with colleagues across the council to gain a deep understanding of our services. This understanding will be crucial in crafting impactful narratives that really connect with our audience.
