Several Strategic Programme Managers to work within our newly formed Change Service at Lancashire County Council.
Our brand-new Portfolio and Programme Team will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of the organisations strategic change portfolio of programmes and projects. We're looking for dynamic individuals to lead strategic complex programmes of delivery. This is a huge opportunity to shape success and set the stage for impactful change. Within Lancashire County Council, you'll be a key part of that success, managing programmes across the council's portfolio of priorities supporting the organisation where there is the most impact. You won't just lead, you'll empower, ensuring our teams are geared up for positive change.
What we are looking for…
Communication and Leadership
As a pivotal player in our organisation, you will take the reins in leading transformative change within Lancashire County Council. Your wealth of experience will be instrumental in steering programmes towards success. You will play a key role as a senior manager and ambassador for our new service to ensure we meet our ambitious objectives within the Change Service team moving forwards. You will be a strategic communicator, someone who can articulate a compelling vision to all levels and drive the organisation to ambitious new heights.
Influential
As a pivotal member of our organisation, you will play a crucial role in shaping decisions, driving initiatives, and building strong collaborative relationships. The ideal candidate will possess a proven ability to influence stakeholders at various levels. You will work with senior individuals across the organisation and be someone who can build longstanding relationships with people at all levels. Whether it's inspiring change, negotiating partnerships, or mobilising teams, we are looking for someone with a track record of successfully leveraging their influencing prowess to achieve positive outcomes.
Knowledge and Experience
We're looking for someone with experience in leading a programme team to drive change within a large organisation. You will be joining our newly formed Change Service and supporting Lancashire County Councils ambitious plans. You will have experience in leading large strategic complex change programmes, navigating the challenges and complexities that come with that. You will have significant practical experience of managing delivery in a portfolio management environment reporting into Portfolio Office.
