ED Inventory Equipment Handler-Emergency Department - Mount Sinai Morningside - Part time Day at Mount Sinai Health System

Job Descrption

Responsible for receiving, unloading, stocking, rotating, order picking and delivery of inventoried supplies for the Medical Center. Performs related record keeping functions such as requisitioning, physical counts, adjustments, labeling, etc. No Supervisory responsibilities.

  • Receives, unloads and loads merchandise from incoming and outgoing trucks.
  • Issues inventoried supplies via automatic replenishment system (exchange carts, par level) as well as by requisition.
  • Maintains efficient and proper care of all hospital materials, handling supplies and equipment. 4. Adheres to all workload schedules.
  • Keeps accurate logs of transactions, lists and records, as required.
  • Responsible for reporting all shortages, stock-outs or unusual situations to supervisory staff. 7. Handles all warehousing related activities and duties as directed by supervisory staff.

Education requirement:

  • High School diploma required

Experience requirements:

  • Familiarity with stock work, particularly in an automated environment, preferred, accuracy in record keeping.

Compensation Statement

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for this role is $22.61 - $24.88 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
