This is a full-time, FTE 1.0, 2nd shift position. Monday – Friday, 5:00pm - 1:30am, rotating on-call weekends and holidays. Hours may vary based on department needs.

We are seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to:
- Help make an impact on patient care by leading our remarkable Environmental Services team as they play a critical role in preventing infection.
- Plan, direct and assign the work to be completed by the environmental services technicians, seniors and environmental services floor care technicians.
- Document completion of work through daily productivity reports.
- Complete inspections, rounding, documentation and regular meetings with other departments to ensure quality of work.

Education:
Minimum – High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred – Bachelor’s Degree.
Work Experience:
Minimum – Two (2) years previous supervisory or lead role experience in a large organization.
Preferred – Five (5) years previous supervisory experience at an acute health care facility.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum – Hazardous waste awareness certificate – must obtain within first year of hire.
If required to driving a company vehicle, the following requirements apply:
- Must be 21 years of age to drive a UW Health Fleet vehicle and must be 25 years of age to drive a UW Health vehicle rates for 15 or more passengers.
- Ability to be insured by Hospital’s risk management insurer which requires (1) a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License and (2) successfully passing a driving background check.
