Work Schedule:
100% FTE, day shift. Eastpark Medical Center schedule: Monday – Friday 6:45AM – 5:00PM. UW Health Science Drive Medical Center schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 4:00PM. University Hospital schedule: Monday – Friday 6:30AM – 5:00PM. Saturday rotation at University Hospital. Holiday and on-call rotation required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist – MRI to:
- Perform technical imaging examinations and complex and specialized procedures utilizing a wide variety of imaging equipment and systems.
- Work independently in this position with all patient age groups and varying locations.
- Responsible for maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.
- Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to triage routine and emergent procedures.
- Participate in the instruction of other fellows, residents, physicians and visiting health care professionals and may also participate in clinical research.

Education:
Minimum – Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology
Preferred – Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
Work Experience:
Minimum – Previous healthcare experience
Preferred – Two (2) years of clinical experience
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum –
• Certification by appropriate body (ARRT and valid Wisconsin Radiological License)
• CPR certification required within 3 months of hire
• MRI certification within 30 months of hire
Preferred – MRI certification

It will be located across from East Madison Hospital on Eastpark Dr. and is slated to open in fall 2024.

Our Fitness Center provides a resource for both working with patients while under our care and providing education after discharge. This environment creates many opportunities for face-to-face collaboration in the care of our patients.
