Job Summary:

The Engineering Project Manager will support Engineering projects, documenting project plans, updating project management reporting tools, and monitoring that projects are on schedule and within budget.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work with cross functional teams to develop product development plans, budgets, and milestones. 
• Monitor and report specific requirements into the financial systems. 
• Work with finance and functional lines to build budgets and monitor actual vs expected spend. 
• Provide comprehensive planning and tracking support for the project team. 
• Monitor Project Teams activities against Product Development Plan to identify deviations from planned timing, budget or scope.
• Ensure that the project team is informed of project status. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience overseeing project management budgets. 
• Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. 
• Expertise with product development methodologies and processes. 
• Experience with defining the scope, allocating resources, setting deadlines, laying out communication strategies, indicating tests and maintenance for engineering projects. 
• Ability to work in a face paced and dynamic work environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Proven experience in software development and project management. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• MBA or PMP certification. 
• Familiarity with regulated medical product development practices will be a plus. 

Education: 

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Engineering or a related field. 

Compensation:

The anticipated range for this position is $110,000 - $160,000. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience.
