JOB SUMMARY: The Region Financial Analyst will analyze financial data and other operating information to assist the Regions in achieving its financial targets. Develops reports and assists in monitoring progress against budget. Assists Region Controller in conducting studies and developing recommendations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Special project to design, map, audit, and maintain service accounts costs and billing in SmartSheet.
Create report in SmartSheet to include Monthly Service Billing by client site.
Map client sites to internal clients.
Audit billing from external invoice to internal records monthly
Ownership of new SmartSheet process for service costs and billing.
On-going review of service invoices to service ticket.
Validate invoicing for accuracy; correspond with key stakeholders to resolve inaccuracies or issues.
Determine validity for payment accuracy with submittal to Accts Payable
Analyze potential billing of maintenance costs not covered by service plans.
Participate in month-end close.
Responsible to analyze costs by project, making appropriate accruals and other journal entries.
Maintain and publish the gross margin report by project in SmartSheet.
Participates in the development of the annual region business plan and budget; assists Controller in monitoring progress against business objectives throughout the year.
Reports, analyzes, and interprets financial and operating data for management, including cost analysis, market niche reporting, profitability analysis, regional performance assessments, contract pricing analysis and wage analysis, and other ad-hoc analysis as directed.
Provides in-depth analysis and interpretation of financial data to monitor and report on progress of the Region and its profit centers compared to business plan targets.
Analyzes records of present and past operations, trends, and costs, estimated, and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred to project future revenues and expenses. Identifies and communicates loss trends.
Assists in the development of Branch and Area office reporting requirements and metrics, and in the design and development of workflow processes.
Generates and distributes system reports and assists management in their utilization; may oversee or assist with information systems projects and/or ongoing operations.
Performs field office visits to analyze operations, conduct audits, and recommend business solutions to management.
Performs tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for assignment.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and one year of experience in financial analysis, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. Additional relevant experience can be substituted for the required education on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education.
