JOB Summary
The Market Development Leader is responsible for a team of Market Development Specialists across Regions, in addition to directly supporting a region of Business Development Team Members. The incumbent will support sales effort with market development, quote submission, pre-sales marketing needs and facilitate clean hand-offs to internal partners during enrollments. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for building out consistent processes, evaluating needs for growth initiatives, monitoring process adherence along with partnering with stakeholders to enhance overall reporting.
Responsibilities
- Leader for the Market Development Specialist team, creating consistent processes and growth initatives across each region and ensuring adherence to those common processes
- Develop and manage ongoing reporting needs for select brokers and internal stakeholders, including but not limited to Tracker, Salesforce, and Power BI reporting in order to accurately reflect sales and activity to internal and external partners
- Initiate and execute strategies to enhance reporting and data management within CWB
- Coordinate a high volume of new case submission in Salesforce for a Regional Business Development Manager team
- Set up strategy meetings with Underwriting and internal Implementation Partners
- Collaborate with marketing to develop tools to maximize enrollment and develop focused marketing campaigns by local market; examples may include one-page flyers for specific cases and brokers, email campaigns, virtual training calls and videos
- Partner with regional sales team to review opportunities based on in-force data within select markets, identify opportunities for new lines of coverage and enhanced re-enrollment activities, and develop strategies with the team to add new lines of coverage
- Liaison with external brokers on marketing initiatives and provide ad hoc information as needed to support the business
- Support re-enrollment activities, implementations, and developing the team’s knowledge on industry best practices to deliver a superior client experience
- Participate with the team on implementation of cases to make sure all aspects are coordinated from the initial RFP to commitments made during the RFP process such as performance guarantee’s, tech credits, etc.
- Create centralized knowledge base for all material for a new case from start to finish that is accessible by key stakeholders
- Develop comprehensive understanding of products
- Build strong positive working relationships with internal and external partners
- Assist with roadblocks and solutions during new case submissions and enrollments, including Licensing and Appointing management for brokers
- Other duties as assigned to support the business

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience required
- Experience in the group benefits industry preferred
- Salesforce experience highly preferred
The pay range for the role is $92,500 to $158,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found on our careers website. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
