Senior Accountant
StreamLabs, a subsidiary of Chubb INA Holdings, offers leading Internet of Things app-enabled water monitoring, leak detection and water shut-off products and software services. StreamLabs is made up of a diverse team of entrepreneurially spirited individuals from consumer products, industrial, engineering, insurance, and insure-tech backgrounds. As part of Chubb’s Internet of Things (IoT) Center of Excellence, StreamLabs has offices, a customer service & training center, manufacturing, distribution, and a product innovation lab in Atlanta, and works directly with team members in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey.
As part of Chubb’s IoT Center of Excellence, StreamLabs leverages connected device technologies to reduce loss due to water damage and other causes in the enterprise, consumer, and connected home spaces. StreamLabs’ Control and Monitor products use patented and proprietary ultrasonic technology to monitor waterflow and alert property owners to potential water damage. This directly benefits property owners, and advances Chubb’s strategy to offer best-in-class “predict and prevent” risk engineering services.

What You Will Do
- Direct support of day-to-day business operations including
- All accounting aspects of inventory tracking and management
- Coordinate with corporate office to process and record ACH, EFT, wire, etc.
- Reconcile monthly statements including cash flows, bank transactions, tie-outs
- Manage A/P: record invoices and work with corporate to process and pay.
- Manage A/R: achieve receivables turnover ratio of 12 or greater, limiting aging
- Interact with internal and external departments including
- StreamLabs management and Chubb finance, tax, treasury, A/P, and external financial consultants
- StreamLabs sales, engineering, and operations
- Drive monthly and quarterly close and reporting processes including
- Sales revenue, expenses & budget tracking and overall P&L
- General Ledger entries
- Completing reconciliations and report A/P and A/R
- Create ad hod reports and financial statements
- Providing analysis on results
- Participate in annual planning and forecast processes including
- Creation and maintenance of pro-forma revenue models and strategic plans
- Support management team in generation of monthly and ad hoc financial reports
- Manage contract accounting resources
- Supervise and direct AR/AP and invoicing contractors in day-to-day tasks
- Coordinating efforts of remote bookkeeper to ensure accurate results
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of overall professional experience required with 3 years of direct accounting and bookkeeping experience in manufacturing, distribution, or other inventory-based sales organization
- Direct Accounting experience and knowledge of inventory-based business and accounting to include direct experience in all related aspects of ERP software and systems
- Strong business acumen and technical accounting skills
- Ability to partner with internal and external constituencies to drive results
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Fluency in Epicor Profit 21 or equivalent ERP system strongly desired, knowledge of QuickBooks and SOS Inventory a plus
- Expert in MS Office, including generation of Annual, Monthly, and ad hoc financial reports in Excel and PowerPoint
