Job Descrption
- Assist management in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and year- end financial statements and reporting related to Reinsurance operations in accordance with GAAP policies.
- Prepare, record and compile journal voucher entries using PeopleSoft and Genius platforms.
- Support analysis of general ledger account balances, including cash, investments, intercompany and Reinsurer accounts.
- Provide accounting support in the analysis of foreign currency fluctuations across the balance sheet.
- Support the reconciliation and maintenance of collateral instruments related to third party Reinsurance balances.
- Assist in preparation of plan and forecast models.
- Participate in special projects including testing of system related changes.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel
- Accounting or Finance major preferred
