Summary: Global Treaty Affiliate Operations team manages $4 billion in revenue of internal reinsurance. The Co-op will assist the team in their collaborations with various colleagues globally in 54 countries supporting the Chubb Overseas General segment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of internal reinsurance settlements, booking of affiliated reinsurance transactions, and maintaining the reconciliation of our 54 affiliated countries' subledgers across Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific regions
Update cash flow forecasts across various currencies for anticipated receipts/payments in support of Treasury
Prepare and record journal entries in PeopleSoft and compile supporting documentation as required by SOX compliance
Utilization of COGNOS to run queries to update monthly schedules for analyses of reinsurance activity
Assist with monthly and quarterly close by running and updating key schedules to support the team's closing deadlines
Recommended Qualifications:
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access, Outlook & Word)
Accounting or Finance major preferred
