About You
Key Requirements:
- Ph.D. with 5-7 years relevant experience OR Masters with 8 years relevant experience OR B.Sc. with 10 years relevant experience
- Developed scientific expertise within the overall field of toxicology.
- Experience with dossier preparation for the EU/UK
- Planning and overseeing toxicological studies
- Ability to explain scientific concepts to both scientific experts and non-experts, including the company's scientific staff, and non-scientific clients
- Sufficient scientific experience to be able to establish the scope and work plan for reasonably complicated projects
- Training and mentoring of junior staff
- Developed written skills as a professional scientist
- Preparation of accurate cost and timeline estimates
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a Senior Scientist – Toxicology who can explain scientific concepts to both scientific experts and non-experts, including the company's scientific staff, and non-scientific clients.
Key activities:
- Interpret data to develop strategies and lead complex scientific projects considering EU/UK regulatory requirements
- Efficiently and effectively manage multiple projects so deliverables are prepared on time and budget
- Provide continuous training to junior team members
- Maintain a high level of scientific knowledge and the reputation of being a recognised specialist through participation in scientific conferences, preparing peer-reviewed publications, and posters, giving presentations at conferences, etc
- Communicate expectations and priorities to stakeholders (including team members and clients)
- Develop and maintain successful client relationships
