ABOUT YOU
Being the Credit Controller, you will build key relationships with the business line leaders for the assigned ledger, the associate finance business partner, and multiple key stakeholders within the finance division. We are looking for a strong communicator that can influence all audiences to achieve the maximum out comes for the business and the 3rd party suppliers.
Required skills and experience:
- A solid background in credit control with the ability to work at pace and resilience
- An effective communicator with strong influencing skills
- Good Excel skills – minimum of Pivots and intermediate formulas
- Ideally studying ICM or qualified
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Key activities:
- Full responsibility of cash collection for the assigned ledger
- Managing and resolving disputes to agreed turnaround times to assist in cash collection
- Monitor and manage bad/aged debt with relevant business line leads and finance business partners weekly
- Weekly reporting of top high-risk customers
- Maintenance of ledger inclusive of; unallocated cash, write off proposals and credit balances
- Processing of accounts to external debt collection agency where appropriate
- Account reconciliations as necessary
- Consistent review of 180+ day accounts and escalate in line with internal processes
- Monitor and management of credit limit alerts from external agency to prevent risk
