Role description:
We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our high performing Water team, where you'll contribute invaluable support to ongoing Capital Programmes for a key player in the Water Industry. In this dynamic role, you'll take on a client-facing position, alongside a diverse and talented multi-disciplinary team, right at the heart of our client's operations. From civil engineering to mechanical and electrical works, this project promises a wide breadth of challenges and achievements that will take your career to the next level.
Role accountabilities:
- Deliver a project(s) with reasonable complexity up to £100m+ in value - to budget, quality, and time.
- Accountable for delivery of timely and accurate data collection, analysis, and reports
- Interpreting and communicating project support policies, processes, and systems.
- Communicating and highlighting project process compliance issues to project managers
- Lead the performance management of project team / resource.
- Manage and/or deliver programmes of work to meet defined objectives.
- Deliver work in line with budgetary, compliance, regulatory and planning controls, and will have significant technical knowledge and experience.
- Promote a health, safety and environmental culture.
- Achieve best practice in the safe and sustainable delivery of capital projects.
- Embrace digital and sustainable solutions in day-to-day project deliver.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Track record within construction project management.
- Preferably Experience working in both fast-paced multidisciplinary teams and single large projects
- Experience of successfully delivering portfolios of programmes or projects, ideally in the water sector.
- Relevant engineering degree, post-graduate qualifications are an advantage.
- Project management qualifications (e.g. PMP, Prince2) would be preferable.
- IChemE or NEC Contract Management experience would be preferable.
- Water / Wastewater experience would be desirable.
Other requirements:
- Hybrid working with requirement for client travel between London and Reading areas (or Sussex, Hampshire and Kent for other clients)
