Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a Talent Acquisition Business Partner to support our Mobility Global Business Area (GBA) in Australia. This is a 12 month contract role that can be based out of our Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney offices. In this role, you will serve as an internal recruiter maintaining a work load of roughly 20-30 positions at any given time. 
 

Mobility centers around providing people with safe access to the people, places, goods and services they need to live a healthy, happy and fulfilled life. The Mobility GBA provides services to our clients in Design & Engineering, Asset & Mobility Management, Project and Program Management, Cost & Commercial Management, and Mobility Advisory. 
 

Role accountabilities:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of role requirements in order to scope and define quality job descriptions and create relevant ad content
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and leadership stakeholders, providing critical key insights into the current market and hiring trends
  • Draw on a variety of direct candidate attraction methods including, but not limited to; LinkedIn and social and professional networking sites to drive candidates to create a strong pipeline of suitable candidates.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for technical and executive level vacancies ensuring that priorities are identified and delivered in line with business strategy
  • Manage offers and candidate negotiations and required visa activity to ensure requisitions are closed and filled in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Shared Service partners to ensure the efficient scheduling of interviews, completion of pre-employment checks, and issuing of contracts
  • Adhere to and advocate for Arcadis’ recruitment policies and procedures; ensuring compliance and applying best practice
  • Contribute to Talent Acquisition and HR projects on a national and global scale

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience recruiting for technical engineers across various disciplines in an agency or in-house capacity
  • A consultative and responsive approach to managing the recruitment needs and experiences of hiring managers and candidates.
  • Solid credibility and well-developed networks across technical disciplines in the local Transportation / Infrastructure industry
  • A knack for thinking outside the box when it comes to leveraging sourcing channel strategies to attract diverse talent through a variety of attraction and direct sourcing methods
  • Highly effective organisation and time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and stakeholder expectations
  • Collaborate with and support the broader Talent Acquisition team in the delivery of projects as required.
