As part of our Cost Management team, you’ll be involved in a wide range of projects from global and high profile to small and impactful, ensuring they’re delivered on time and to budget. Your expertise in planning, estimating, budgeting and managing costs will drive growth and smarter working

We have projects and programmes both in the UK and also overseas for interested candidates.
Role accountabilities:
The role involves leading, coaching, and developing team members to increase skill levels and improve service delivery standards, creating project costings and budgets to meet profit and budgetary targets, managing individual cost management assignments, ensuring compliance with contracts, analyzing complex information to improve long-term performance, developing processes and implementing new cost and commercial management system improvements, managing business relationships with key customers, providing strategic advice on cost and commercial management matters, and building strong working relationships with senior clients and stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and develop new business opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Relevant professional qualification and ideally chartered status with a relevant professional institution i.e. RICS, CIPS, ICE, CIOB etc.
- Extensive experience with the NEC suite of contracts
- Preferably you will have demonstrable experience delivering projects within the Nuclear sector, however candidates with experience within other regulated sectors (i.e. Rail, Defence, Water etc.) will be considered.
- Possess the skills and experience to actively support the internal team and manage resources on technically complex projects/programme of works typically ranging between £10m and £100m and beyond
- Relevant professional experience, including of delivering large and complex projects across an entire project life cycle
- Experience of managing people, and leadership skills including the ability to motivate others
- Experience of building and utilising client relationships at executive level, including the ability to act as a trusted advisor
