Job Descrption
The Engineering Accelerated Development Program (ADP) is “hosted” by the Global Supply Chain Organizational Development Department and participants are matched with one of our manufacturing or distribution facilities.

Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Engineering Manager with:
- Opportunity to work/lead projects that may include:
- Updating the site’s process/value stream map
- Assisting with creating and submitting FCAs
- Learning all manufacturing/engineering systems
- Tools and processes
- Metrics and standards
- Process functional specifications
- Delivery systems & instrumentation
- Understanding SHW control and quality systems to maximum benefits within the site
- Equipment analysis
- New installations and facility revisions
- Developing drawings and specifications for equipment layout
- Investigation of new plant engineering processes and techniques
- Assist management teams in execution and completion of CIP Projects
- Special projects as identified by the Engineering Team
- Knowledge of the many different areas within the Engineering function: Process, Controls, Robotics, RX, Continuous Improvement, Innovations, and Design
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a bachelor's degree in the engineering field from an accredited institution, prior to starting the position.
- MUST be willing to relocate for this position AND upon completion of the program.
- Must be open to relocate Post Program for the target role.
- Must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.8
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future
Preferred:
- Major in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- Experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Power Point
Preferred:
- Previous Internship/Co-op experience within Sherwin-Williams.
- Previous Internship, Co-op or work experience in a related field
- Previous internship or co-op experience in the Sherwin-Williams Global Supply Chain Division
- Leadership experience as demonstrated by your involvement in extracurricular activities on campus or in the community
