Blending Technician - 3rd Shift at Sherwin-Williams

Job Descrption
This position manufactures batches to provide quality product to the fill lines by following discrete formulas as provided by R&D. Blending Technicians will make adjustments, as determined by the Quality Lab, in order to bring blends into specification.
Additional Information:
Sunday Night - Friday Morning 9:45pm-6:00am
- Physical environment consistent with Manufacturing environments.
- Walking on concrete floors and climbing stairs leading to scaffolds and mezzanines.
- Temp variations min 50+ to 100+ degrees F.
- Noise levels 30 to above 85 decibels.
- Exposure to dust, chemical vapors, liquids and powders
- Ability to meet the requirements for and capable of wearing required PPE.
- Must be willing to meet the requirements for and medically cleared to wear a respirator.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Ability to maneuver 55 gal drums into hoists and drum cradles.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have at least two (2) years of work experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution facility or in an operations environment
