Hilton Head Hospital (HHH) is a 109-bed acute care hospital located at 25 Hospital Center Boulevard in Hilton Head Island, SC. Opened in 1974, HHH serves Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, Okatie and surrounding counties through its care team of over 600 colleagues and over 100 physicians. The hospital provides a continuum of services through its centers and programs, including a 24-hour emergency department, critical care, cardiac care ranging from minimally invasive to open heart surgery, obstetrics/gynecology, urology, a nationally accredited breast health center, spine care, gastroenterology, surgical services, cardiac and physical rehabilitation, and a 12-bed geriatric psychiatric inpatient unit. Graduate Nurse ED Full Time Rotating Position Summary
This is a developmental program for graduate nurses who want to develop multiple and varied clinical skills in multiple nursing specialties. This position requires participation in a guided training and developmental program.
THE GRADUATE NURSE ED FULL TIME ROTATING CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
Minimum Education: Graduate of an approved program of practical nursing with an Associates degree.
Minimum Experience: No previous experience is required; 1 to 2 years of job-related experience is preferred.
Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: A valid Permanent Multi-State LPN License from the state in which you reside is required. Should you hold a LPN license from another Compact state, you are required to apply for and obtain a Multi-State LPN License from the state in which you reside within 30 days. BLS required.
Will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide safe and competent patient care. Will specifically, assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct nursing care to assigned patients. Will also assume responsibility for the supervision of staff to which nursing care is appropriately delegated.
Education:
Required: Graduated from state approved school of nursing or an accredited school
Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (bachelor's or master's degree).

Required: Temporary authorization to practice as a graduate nurse under the direct supervision of a registered nurse as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy; AHA BLS.
