Summary
Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, provides direct physical care to patients encompassing the activities of daily living. Performs specific nursing procedures relevant to the nursing assistant scope of practice. Expected to float to any department once oriented.
Required Training/Education/Experience/Certification:
Passage of an approved Certified Nurse Attendant training program. C.N.A certification, BLS
Desired Training/Education/Experience/Certification:
One year recent acute care Certified Nurse Attendant experience. Communication is an essential skill requiring the ability to see, hear, and speak. Fluent in written and spoken English. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
Pay range: $20.15 - $20.37
Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.

Education:
Required: High school diploma or GED.
Experience:
Required: 3 years of experience in a medical setting. Familiarity with medical terminology and laboratory data.
Preferred: 5 years of experience as a nursing assistant or clerical staff in a medical environment.
Certifications:
Required: AHA BLS.
