Up to $2,500 Sign-on Bonus Based on Eligibility   CNA Med Surg Part Time Nights Position Summary   Under the direction of the Nurse, performs sub-professional duties including providing patient care to meet the needs of activities of daily living; operation and maintenance of equipment. Takes and records vital signs and I/Os. Assists licensed staff and physicians as directed within approved standards. Performs other related duties as directed. Assumes the responsibility for meeting the basic needs of all patients assigned. Provides care to a patient population ranging from infant to geriatric, unless otherwise indicated. Works collaboratively with the health care team, is customer focused and strives to meet unit and hospital goals. Provides quality care according to established practice standards and guidelines for the area(s) assigned. Must be willing/able to float to other (comparable) nursing units, as requested/needed.   THE CNA MED SURG PART TIME NIGHTS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.   The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: CNA, and/or completion of Nursing Fundamentals from an accredited Nursing Curriculum with the intention to complete a nursing degree required. American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required.

Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor.

Required: High school diploma or GED.

Experience:

Preferred: 1 year hospital experience

Certifications:

Required: Certified Nursing Assistant. AHA BLS
