Job Descrption
Talent Enablement & Development
Support the development of HC strategies related to talent enablement, development and happiness and demonstrate the link between engagement and GCAA strategic objectives.
Conduct reviews and work measurements to determine workloads, and productivity levels of GCAA business units
Conduct research studies/self-assessment (internal) to determine areas of improvement on how to improve and innovate GCAA’s Human Capital function.
Implement the agreed Talent Enablement operational action plan focusing on organization culture, workload analysis, and job design.
Run GCAA-wide performance management framework and system, encompassing liaising with individual Line Managers, to define individual scorecard targets & KPIs, as well as, ensuring effective performance reviews
Maintain GCAA compensation & benefits philosophy and conduct periodic local and international market analysis of compensation & benefits data.
Maintain and develop the GCAA grading structure, be a repository of the updated organization-wide job descriptions, and manage the entire process of job description review and job evaluation.
Develop and maintain GCAA-wide technical and behavioral competency dictionary and career ladders for inter-job family movements (horizontal/vertical/diagonal).
Administer and implement the succession planning framework at GCAA, evaluate the criticality of the new existing/new roles, and develop and implement succession plans for the identified successors.
Drive continuous improvement across HC automation of services and processes and make recommendations for technology where appropriate.
Maintain the HC dashboard and KPIs both strategic and operational, continuously analyse the trends /aviation outlook, and recommend improvement plans.
Conduct employee engagement and happiness surveys and report employee happiness metrics and targets, including the rewards programs in line with the Corporate Strategy & Performance Department.
Learning & Development
Implement GCAA-wide Learning & Development Strategy to facilitate creation of a learning organization that is dynamic and agile.
Run the Learning needs analysis exercise and chart out relevant programs that meet the development objectives of departments as well as meet the individual development plans. Review internal mobility and career development strategy and utilize the same as an additional input for Learning needs analysis.
Support the preparation of the Learning budget across GCAA.
Identify competent Learning and development providers who can effectively deliver programs as per the identified needs.
Ensure participation and nominations to the programs as per the Learning and development calendar with a view to maximizing return on Learning and development investment.
Maintain effective business relationships with all relevant internal departments and external entities (such as Government authorities, Learning, and development service providers, etc.) with the highest standards of business ethics.
Run the competency assessments for new roles, recruits, and promotions, as well as the induction training for all new joiners and individual development programs including the GCAA mentorship program.
Liaise with the Commercial Services Department (IACT) on the availability of qualified/certified in-house trainers as well as support in conducting effective training design, development, and roll-out (including training feedback analysis).
Audits
Support the administration of activities by internal/external entities on request. Prepare necessary documents and communicate whenever required.
Implement corrective actions raised under an internal surveillance program to ascertain international standards and continuous improvement.
Awareness Programs
Conduct roadshows and awareness sessions on successes of GCAA and its different sectors/departments both internally and externally
Reporting
Ensure that all functional reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet GCAA requirements and quality standards.
Health, Safety, and Environment within GCAA
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services, and a responsible environmental attitude as per IMS available standards
Other Tasks/ Accountability
Perform additional tasks relevant to the role area of expertise as requested by the management to be able to achieve the objectives/commitments.
