The Asheboro OBGYN practice is currently seeking a BC/BE Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician to join their growing team. The practice is a progressive multi-specialty group known for patient-first, high quality, value driven care, competitive compensation and excellent benefits.
Asheboro located in the center of North Carolina offers:
- Places to hike, bike, boat, golf and many other family activities.
- Three major medical schools, Duke, UNC-Chapel Hill and Wake Forest, all within an hour.
- Home of the North Carolina Zoological Park.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration:
- Current M.D. or D.O. license from the State of North Carolina.
- Board certification in OBGYN.
- Certification in BCLS, ACLS required if stress tests performed or as required by specialty.
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing required.
Highlights:
- Only OBGYN practice in the county with 850+ deliveries per year.
- Enjoy Friday afternoon off! Practice hours are Monday-Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
- Call 1:6 shared amongst providers.
- The practice offers special surgical procedures such as: laparoscopic hysterectomy, endometrial ablation, slings, LEEP, and in office hysteroscopy and pelvic laparoscopy.
- Procedures are done in the office at Central Piedmont Surgery Center and Randolph Hospital.
