So, what’s it all about?
Joules was founded in 1989 in a field in Great Britain and to this day can be found at many country fairs, agricultural and equestrian events. Shows and Events remain a key focus of the brand to this day, allowing us to stay true to our heritage and connect with our core customers on their days out in the summer sun (or rain!). The 2024 Shows season kicks off in May with the prestigious - Badminton Horse Trials.
In a nutshell, the main priorities of the role will be:
Travelling to shows across the UK; whatever the weather, working collaboratively in teams of 5-50 people to drive sales by delivering best in class customer service to our passionate customers. Demonstrating a strong knowledge of and enthusiasm for Joules products as an Ambassador of the brand. Getting stuck in and assisting with set up and break down of show stands and other operational tasks to ensure events run smoothly and efficiently.
The ideal Ambassador must be:
- Proactive team player with a ‘one team’ mentality.
- Confident and engaging communicator with an aptitude for one-to-one retail customer service.
- Adaptable and resilient with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Physically able to lift, carry and stand for long periods.
- Comfortable with working both indoors and outdoors, in a range of weather conditions.
- Be flexible around working hours and shift patterns - Willing to travel across the UK, working and living alongside team members.

Key Skills and Experience:
The following experience is desirable, but not all are essential. If you believe you would make a great member of the team, please get in touch!
- Customer service experience
- Experience communicating face-to-face
- Experience working as part of a team
- Stock management experience
- Basic knowledge and understanding of IT and till systems
- Knowledge of agricultural and equestrian show scene / country culture
- Able to commute to Market Harborough, Leicestershire prior to travelling to events
- Hold a Full driving licence
