At Next we have a great opportunity for a Studio Planning Coordinator to join our Photo Studio based at our brand new Studio in Leighton Buzzard. You will work closely with the various teams within our Studio operations including planning, production, creative and repro to help deliver the full end to end process of asset creation. This is a fast-paced role that covers all our interior photography for Home to maintain the photographic vision and creative beliefs on schedule and meeting the brief. About the role
● You will report to the Senior Planning Coordinator and be a part of a Planning Team who coordinate shoots for Fashion and Home.
● You will coordinate the shoots for our Home products.
● The Studio Planning team is fundamental in ensuring the Next Studios run smoothly.
● You will be instrumental in allowing the Studio Planning team to meet deadlines in line with the business’ photography schedule.
● As the Planning Coordinator, you will use the Studio database to identify priorities and schedule ‘jobs’ out to all of the shoot teams, liaising with the Creative Coordinator to ensure the correct items are allocated to the right set/teams.
● You will be able to keep up with the ever changing requirements of a large studio team.
● You will liaise with the client who will be both internal Next colleagues and external product teams.
Responsibilities
● Communicate with relevant colleagues to ensure imagery is captured on time and inform the rest of the team if there are any potential issues.
● Provide admin support to the Senior Planning Coordinator when required.
● Maintain multiple trackers, updating with the relevant information
● Updating the studio capacity planner daily with shoot team and target information.
● Assist the Production team with ensuring stock is ready for shoot teams when necessary.
● Flexibility to work at other Next Studios when required (Enderby and Leighton Buzzard).
● Communicate and work effectively with the product teams within Next and external partners.
● Communicate effectively with your Manager to establish clear, recognisable and achievable goals.
About you
● Have previous experience working within a similar role with excellent organisational experience and attention to detail.
● Superior planning, workload management and organisational capabilities.
● Work well in a busy, noisy and fast paced environment working to tight deadlines and being adaptable to change.
● Excellent coordination experience with the ability to interpret large volumes of data.
● Have a helpful, friendly and professional manner at all times.
● Mac literate.
● Experience of using various tracking, recording and planning systems eg. Asana.
● Google G-Suite (Sheets, Docs, etc) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc) literate.
● Creative flair and interest will also help with this role.
