We are looking for an Assistant Sales Manager for Next Sourcing’s Brands division, to be based in our London office. This is a great development opportunity and you would be working within a dynamic team.
The Role…
Be responsible for monitoring current sales whilst being aware of market trends in order to identify new areas of potential growth. Ultimately driving Sales across Licence brands and Direct customers within Next Sourcing.
Work alongside the Product Teams both in the UK and overseas, who will consistently propose new product and trend ideas.
Be responsible to sell the product developed with conviction to Licence and Direct customers using your influence and help evolve the range, driving sales for the company.
Be heavily involved in driving new opportunities from concept and sourcing .
Work with your teams and the territories on clear strategies in advance of the season, to secure key programs that drive sales for the company by monitoring and replacing end users of key programs/best sellers whilst being aware of market trends.
Constantly identify new product opportunities and new areas of potential growth and work towards converting these ideas into orders and drive new sales opportunities for the company.
Build strong relationships with the Licence brand teams, the Direct customers & Next Sourcing overseas teams.
Manage the Next Sourcing critical path alongside the Licence and Direct customers’ critical paths ensuring the product is designed and delivered according to key dates such as range reviews and selections.
Assist with price negotiations, delivery negotiations, and small quantity order negotiations where necessary and deliver competitive prices, deliveries, service to the Licence brand and Direct customer teams.
Assist with troubleshooting where necessary to make sure the customer sees Next Sourcing as their first port of call.
Travel will feature in this role with customer UK visits and potential for seasonal territory visits.

About You…
You will need a strong product development background with good sourcing knowledge, ideally you will have worked in a similar role with Licence/ Brands experience.
You’ll demonstrate exceptional commercial awareness and have a comprehensive understanding of trends, as well as having an understanding of product development and manufacturing.
You'll need to work well in a team within your department as well as being highly personable and engaging across the business.
Experienced and able to present new concepts and suggestions to encourage new sales opportunities.
You'll need the drive and enthusiasm to follow tasks through until completion and have good problem solving skills.
Strong excel, numerical and analytical skills.
Experience gained within Buying or Merchandising or from a Supplier background.
