We’re looking for a Trainee Marketing Executive to join the Digital Marketing Communications team on a 6 month temporary contract!
This is an exciting opportunity for a recent Graduate who is looking to kickstart their career within eCommerce and learn from our talented Digital Marketing team.
As a Trainee Marketing Executive you will be given valuable training and support to develop your marketing skills and experience whilst helping the team to support the promotion of our App through push notifications for our International business.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, a keen problem solver and able to work within a large fast paced team of marketeers and traders. In this role you will deliver the International push, SMS and WhatApp programme and support the wider marketing team with their scheduled push and SMS activities, with the goal of developing into the subject matter expert for App marketing as they gain training and experience.
We can offer hybrid working from NEXT Head Office in Enderby, Leicestershire.
Start date: May/June 2024.
About the Role
- Own and maintain the marketing communications schedule for push, SMS and WhatsApp
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns for push, SMS and WhatsApp including the set-up, scheduling, and deployment of one-time, recurring, and triggered campaigns
- Work closely with the key teams/stakeholders to create bespoke campaigns to increase sales, drive recruitment and retention on push
- Analyse performance of marketing campaigns for push, SMS and WhatsApp to provide actionable insights and improvements for future development
- Reporting on sales revenue generated through push, SMS and WhatsApp marketing campaigns
- Assist with the day to day administration tasks
- Conduct detailed competitor analysis reports
About You
- A relevant degree such as Marketing, Fashion & Marketing, Merchandising, Buying & so on
- Digital marketing experience, preferred but not essential
- Experience with push, SMS or WhatsApp service platforms isn’t vital if you have experience in email and CRM platforms
- Self-motivated and highly organised with the ability to adapt to a changing environment and stay calm under pressure
- Creative and inquisitive with a thirst to learn more
- Attention to detail, ensuring all work is delivered to a high standard
- Able to take direction and deliver tasks accordingly
- Effective team player; can do attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate level user of the Google Suite
- Looking for a 6 month temporary contract
