About the role
As a Tech Trainer, you will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and updating technical training materials. You'll plan assessments to effectively measure knowledge and understanding, to ensure our training programs meet the highest standards. You will evaluate program effectiveness and implement improvements to drive continuous growth. Engaging both in-person and virtual training sessions, you'll captivate audiences with your dynamic teaching style. You’ll use your collaboration skills as you work closely with our training teams to develop successful and innovative programs that inspire and empower future developers.
The role will primarily focus on our Mainframe Academy, tutoring cohorts on the fundamentals of Mainframe. Our aim is to develop the trainees to professional Mainframe Developers within 2 years, with year one focusing on dedicated training, and year two within a team, where they will receive further on the job training.
About you
We’re looking for a passionate individual dedicated to inspiring future developers, with previous experience in coaching, tutoring, or mentoring. Ideally you will be proficient in coding including COBOL, JCL, IBMz, VSAM, DB2, SQL and CICS.
