JOB SUMMARY
The Software Engineer is responsible for the development, testing and release of our organization's web and mobile applications.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
• Participates in the design and development of new solutions as well as in enhancements and updates to existing solutions along with fixing the issues in the system 5%
• Contributes to the software development life cycle, focusing on development, testing, troubleshooting and debugging software solutions 5%
• Contributes to the best coding practices and help with code merges and releases. 5%
• Develops unit and automation test scripts under the test driven development lifecycle 5%
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field or equivalent experience preferred
Work Experience
Typically 2+ years experience in developing products and platforms using either UI or backend web technologies required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Understanding of all phases of Software development life cycle
Software Development Experience with Java or Python
Experience with UI modern framework like AngularJS or ReactJS
Experience with microservice architecture, end-to-end UI/API integration, and knowledge of API protocols like REST, gRPC, and graphQL
Familiar with best coding practices and UI and backend architectures
Knowledge of Caching technologies and DBMS technologies like Oracle, MySQL, PostGres, MongoDB

Travel Requirements
Minimal
The salary range for this role is $85,500 to $205,200. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.
A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
