Clinical Technician 2
Inova Health System’s Fairfax Hospital is looking for a Clinical Technician 2 to join our Pediatric Med Surg Unit. This role is full-time, 3-12hr shifts.

Responsibilities:
- Provides direct care to patients whose care requirements are routine and standardized, with predictable outcomes, under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse
- Effectively communicates with health team members, patients, and families; Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with others.
- Assists unit leadership with overseeing other unit Clinical Technician education records.
- Has respect for and an understanding of other clinical disciplines.
- Maintains competencies and seeks opportunities to develop professionally.
- Identifies own learning needs based on self-evaluation and the progress made from the previous year's goals.
- Assumes responsibility for self-development in lifelong learning and seeks opportunities to further increase practice knowledge.
- May perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Hours: full-time, 3-12hr shifts.
- Location: Fairfax Hospital
- Experience: 1 year of acute care experience as a Clinical Technician
- Certification: Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association, within 3 months of hire
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
