The ABM Enterprise Services Center is looking for a self-motivated individual who wants to grow and take their career to the next level. This person will be given an opportunity to work as a business partner with the FP&A and operation teams within a shared service environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Complete month-end tasks timely for assigned area
Ensure financial statements are accurate
Apply generally accepted accounting principles
Provide guidance to the field on accounting matters
Pro-actively identify journal entries for assigned area
Drive process improvements
Identify, explain and communicate variances and the drivers behind them
Perform trend and account analysis
Provide exceptional customer service to internal customers
Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts
Prepare journal entries
Prepare PBC schedules and assist with external and SOX audits
Requirements:
Current ABM employees and contractors will receive priority consideration
4-year college degree in Accounting
Knowledge of JDE Accounting software highly preferred
Must be proficient in MS Excel
Commitment to teamwork through relationship-building and collaboration
Ability to work with different management levels and personalities
Possess a positive attitude with a strong desire to learn
