If you are a Shipping Coordinator Lead professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Stafford, TX location, you will be responsible for helping lead the day-to-day activities of the shipping office. You will help train personnel, supervise inventory levels, and ensure shipments are processed efficiently. You will also coordinate with freight carriers, vendors, and other departments to resolve issues and improve processes.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Answer questions regarding shipment status from internal and external customers.
- Monitor shipment status and effectively connect with all parties involved to ensure smooth deliveries.
- Monitor international shipping – Audit the processes to verify shipments are compliant.
- Ensure past due orders are shipped immediately upon receipt.
- Support planning personnel with updated shipment reporting.
- Ship and receive materials by following standard principles and practices.
- Select carriers based on cost, services, route, etc.
- Maintain current inventory records.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree
- Knowledge of principles and practices of supervision
- Validated experience with record keeping and generating reports
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- SAP experience
- Knowledge in BOL's, shipping and trade compliance.
