- You will join a growing team of dedicated Project Managers and other related professionals, who work together across multiple sectors.
- As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of projects ranging in size and complexity.
- This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management within a diverse and challenging environment.
YOUR TEAM
You will be part of our Project Management and Commercial Management Team. The team is made up of around 400 people across the UK providing Programme and Project Management, Commercial Management and Project Controls Services to deliver Buildings and Infrastructure Projects. You will be within the Civil Infrastructure and Utilities Group and will work across a range of sectors including, Highways, Water, Energy, Defence and Environmental Projects. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team working with technical experts from across WSP to deliver services to our clients.
- Are passionate about making a difference and want to be part of a dynamic team.
- Have proven organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Are not afraid to challenge the status quo, to try innovative solutions and learn from past experiences.
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, PowerBi) is desirable.
- Having previous experience in a project management or consulting roles is an advantage, particularly within the water, environment, infrastructure, or transport sectors.
- Are a Project Management professional and working towards PMQ certification (or similar).
- Hold a degree, or similar higher education qualification.
