As a Senior Employer’s Agent / Quantity Surveyor, you’ll advises on construction costs and contract management activities; monitors compliance of construction requirements and standards.
The role will require you to ensure that a high level of technical, financial and commercial control is maintained on projects.
What you'll be doing:
- Project Management from inception to completion
- Tender and appoint the project delivery team
- Attend design team meetings, produce tender documentation
- Development of cost plans
- Reviewing tender returns, authorise application of payment, risk analysis, valuation certificate production
- Administer the Design & Build Contract
- Preparation of financial reports
- Final account information
- Participate in value engineering workshops and analysis of findings
- NC, HND, BSc/ MSc in Quantity Surveying
- Experience in delivery of residential projects (ideally high-rise developments)
- Experience of JCT Design & Build Contract
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, good planning and organising skills together with strong time management skill and team working
- A full driving licence
