YOUR NEW ROLE, WHATS INVOLVED?
- You will join a growing team of dedicated Quantity Surveyors, Commercial Staff, and other related professionals, who work together across multiple sectors.
- As an Assistant Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of construction projects ranging in size, complexity and sector primarily in an estimating role but also involved in the procurement and post contract commercial administration of projects.
- This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience informing our wide client base of their projected project costs from inception to completion, within a diverse and challenging environment.
- Have proven organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
YOUR TEAM
You will be part of our Project Management and Commercial Management Team. The team is made up of around 400 people across the UK providing Programme and Project Management, Commercial Management and Project Controls Services to deliver Buildings and Infrastructure Projects. You will be within the Civil Infrastructure and Utilities Group and will work across a range of sectors including, Highways, Water, Energy, Defence and Environmental Projects. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team working with technical experts from across WSP to deliver services to our clients.
