YOUR NEW ROLE, WHAT'S INVOLVED?
• Dealing with general day to day project administration tasks that come out of the team;
• Stakeholder Engagement and Support;
• Preparation of Lighting Reality Calculations;
• Preparation of design drawings in AutoCAD;
• Quality Assurance checking and approving;
• Co-ordination with other discipline and contractors;
• Presentation of designs to the end client for technical... approval;
• Site visits including checking if columns and feeder pillars are safe installations (G39 and ECS card required will be provided as part of role); and
• Day to day liaison with electrical design team for co-ordination.
YOUR TEAM
• You will be joining a growing, multi-disciplinary, energetic team that is highly regarded within the industry, which includes the following specialisms: Electrical and EV, Environmental, Local Government and the Strategic Road Network.
• You will be part of a global network of lighting specialists.
• You will have the opportunity to join or maintain a professional membership.
• You will have access to advanced training programs for personal development and internal projects and systems.
• We work on projects, in a variety of sectors: Commercial, Urban Realm, Transportation and Infrastructure, with both local government and private clients.
WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:
• Registration with the Engineering Council (EngTech, IEng or CEng)
• Are proficient in the use of Lighting Reality Design Software and AutoCAD.
• Have a good Electrical design and operations Knowledge and understanding;
• Are able to demonstrate competency and experience within a lighting design project
• A good understanding of central management systems
• Are able to work independently, and as part of a team
• Experience of working within the Local Government sector
