Labelling Assistant
£23,400 plus great benefits (Work level 6C)
Manchester city centre, hybrid working
6-month fixed-term contract
We’re looking for Labelling Assistants to join our Technical Services team at Co-op. In this role you’ll work in a hybrid way splitting your time between home and the office (find out more about our hybrid working policy at colleagues.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).
You’ll support with the delivery of our strategic redesign, helping to make sure that our own brand products are labelled safely, legally and within brand and policy guidelines. This is a great opportunity for you to gain experience across a huge range of product categories and to collaborate with lots of internal partners and external suppliers.
What you’ll do
• Create and develop effective relationships with key internal and external partners across the group to deliver artwork on time and to agreed critical path
• Attend artwork wall review meetings
• Review and approve artwork, ensuring legal and policy compliance
• Support the team on reporting
• Support the team by reviewing competitor activity focussed on specific areas of labelling or new trends
This role would suit people who have
• Good general IT skills with the ability to pick up new systems quickly
• A high level of attention to detail with prioritisation and time management skills
• A collaborative and co-operative approach to your work
• The ability to work collaboratively with lots of people at different levels of the business, as well as independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
