Senior Fabrication Operative at Wood

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Assemble and weld supplied punched and folded items to high quality standards
- Read engineering drawings and interpret welding requirement
- Produce batch and one-off items using MIG and TIG welding
- MIG and TIG welding experience with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Time served apprenticeship in Fabrication and Welding BTEC / City and Guilds
- Fabrication / welding / finishing background
- Must be experienced in either Mild Steel, Stainless Steel or Aluminium, ideally in all
- All-round familiarity with welding techniques and processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
