Delivery Focal Point at Wood

Job Descrption
Wood is looking for a Delivery Focal Point for our IRS Facility, which is within the Wood Hub Contract, this role reports directly into the Hub Contract Manager and is part of the Hub Management team.
The role is:
- Brings safety leadership and culture.
- The delivery of all works scopes from our Fabrication facility
- Has competence in handling internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-starter who can manage multiple priorities.
Individual contributor with good time management
- Health, safety, environmental and quality performance with our team and our facility
- Role Model for personal safety leadership ensuring personnel are performing to the correct company expectations.
- Manage the leading and lagging KPI’s for our delivery.
- Ensure their visibility of all ongoing and future works.
- Manage and run the regular delivery meetings with the team.
- Manage all stakeholders with regards to scope delivery
- Manage the work scope schedules alongside the Production Manager
- Mange efficient on-site tool times and resolve any issues that impact the facility.
- Ensure compliance to the Management of Change Process
- Understand the appropriate technical standards are met and adhered to
Close liaison with Production manager and the site team
- Sufficient knowledge and experience of working within and supervising a team
- Good organisational skills, anticipates problems and identifies solutions.
- Adhere to the Wood values.
- Proactively drives progress and demonstrates responsibility for performance.
- Proven relationship-builder across various the facility and the wider Wood business
- Excellent communicator, able to present in a clear and concise manner.
- Able to quickly adapt as per the needs the organisation
Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- HNC and/or 5+ year’s industry experience in similar role.
- Demonstrable experience dealing with the safe and efficient execution of works.
- Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial but is not essential.
