PMC Process Engineer - Automation at Wood

Job Descrption
Responsibilities
- Be part of PMT client team overseeing EPC contractors
- Oversee the development of Process Control requirements carried out by the EPC contractor which includes: Control and Operating Philosophy, Cause and Effects charts, Process Control Narratives, HAZOP and general control requirements
- Provide technical leadership to develop and update Process Control Technical work practices in line with industrial standards
- Be responsible for the co-ordination and progress of process control design for one or more projects, as assigned
- Liaise with Suppliers’ representatives and other departments on all matters relating to process control design for assigned projects
- Carryout Dynamic Simulation and surge Analysis Studies
- Provide consultancy after contract award with Client in assessing or assisting in the definition of process control user requirements
- Minimum of 15 years experience in the oil and gas industry mainly being in offshore upstream projects
- Minimum of 5 years proven capability in an engineering design company
- Demonstrated leadership experience and previous track record of successfully working in PMC team
- Experience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred
- Previous experience of working for Wood is strongly preferred
- Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
