- Pipeline route selection
- Mechanical design, i.e., wall thickness, stress analysis (CAESAR II experience), free span and expansion analysis
- Development of material take - offs
- Development of material specifications and data sheets

- Engineering university degree
- Chartered engineer status preferred
- Previous experience working on the mechanical and civil design of onshore pipeline projects and the project execution strategies associated with pipeline procurement and construction
- Proven track record in FEED and detailed design experience
- Offshore pipeline engineering experience is an advantage
- Able to develop pipeline installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance analysis and procedures
- Experienced in the use of pipeline software (AutoCAD, Microstation, CAESAR II, ESRI GIS) is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint is required
- Experience in the development of material requisitions and construction scopes of work
- Experience working with Middle East clients is an advantage
