Onshore Pipeline Engineer at Wood

Job Descrption
Wood has been awarded a major project with ADNOC and we are looking to hire a Pipeline Engineer to be based at our Abu Dhabi Engineering Center.”
- Responsible for providing expertise and ensures the application of correct standards in all FEED / EPC deliverables in the design and development of projects associated with Oil and Gas processing, production and export
- Fully understands the COMPANY HSE policy, procedures, regulations and objectives as they relate to his area of responsibility
- Establish the actual (as opposed to design) capacities / capabilities of existing field facilities to identify potential bottlenecks and scope for optimization
- Identify potential applications for new technology
- Know the environmental aspects (ISO14001) of oil and gas design
- Know the safety aspects of design in relation to the project cycle (e.g. HAZID, HAZOP, HAZAN, IPF classification methodology and implementation, reliability studies, Fire and Gas mapping and risk analysis techniques)
- Prepare RFQ (request for quotation) technical packages for pipelines related scopes
- Prepare engineering, construction and material estimation, schedule, resource planning and update resource capacity planning half-yearly
- Be familiar with working with construction engineers and installation schemes.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering from an accredited university
- Must have at least five years of experience in similar position for international major Oil and Gas / Petrochemical / Marine projects in ENGINEER’s / CONTRACTOR's organization.
