Engineer Administrator - DP World -Southampton
We are currently recruiting for an engineer administrator in our Southampton Port. We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and analytical person for this post due to the nature of the work. This person will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of fleet availability and compliance of all supplementary equipment on the terminal. This includes managing all planned maintenance activities and coordinating repairs as needed.
About The Role
How will you contribute:
- Provide administration to maintain compliance and fleet availability of Supplementary equipment.
- Ensure contractor risk assessments, method statements and Authority to Work Permits are prepared for sub-contractor site visits.
- Maintain a 5-year plan and co-ordinate fleet replacement program for Supplementary equipment.
- To prepare, equipment hierarchy templates for major assets.
- To reinforce the criticality of preventative maintenance on all equipment.
- Review EAMS data input and produce monthly performance reports
- Accurately analyse maintenance performance data and highlight any data quality issues.
What will you Bring.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- At least 2 years’ experience within a similar role.
- To have experience within the automotive, maritime or industrial sectors
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to effectively plan and co-ordinate planned maintenance.
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills
- Experience presenting data on excel spreadsheets and producing reports is required.
- Knowledge of Maximo EAMS an advantage, but where appropriate, training will be given.
