Key Accountabilities:

• Carry out electrical preventive maintenance service (PMS) of equipment’s as per various maintenance package given with in the time frame.
• Report to foremen or team leader any kind of defects found.
• Attend brake down of equipment’s at site and provide feedback to superiors after work completion.
• Dismantling components of equipments and give feedback to foreman about work progress and parts requirements.
• Maintain good working relationship with workers, appointed foreman, supervisors and management.
• Ensure materials are of required standard prior to use, reporting damages when required.
• Basic servicing of battery & charging.
• Rewiring of equipment’s
• Attend any training for any activity required by the department.
• Maintain Good Housekeeping of the work area specially after completing the job.

Experience / Qualification & Skills:

• Basic Knowledge to read and understand the various equipment manuals.
• Working experience in shipyard equipments like cherry pickers, forklifts, side loader, transporter and straddle carrier
• Able to read & understand the digital display of equipments and necessary adjustment where applicable
• Basic Knowledge of electrical & electronic circuit diagram.
• Able to service starter motor & alternator.
• Basic knowledge to work with ECM controlled machines and electronic cards and diagnostic equipment analyzer.
• 1 Year Technical certificate – Elec. Auto, Electronic & Instrumentation).
• High school /Industrial/vocational training or Shipyard training.
• 1 years of experience  or More than 1 Year plant equipment's experience in shipyard.
