Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Underground Engineer I or II at our Carlin operation. Execution of some aspects of small and medium sized projects, including planning, justification, engineering, design.

Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated ability to interact with both engineering and operational teams outside of direct organizational structure required.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization in both written and verbal means.
- Demonstrated capacity to execute and hold self and others accountable for results required
- The right candidate must be willing to rotate into new positions as development opportunities come available
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mining Engineering or related degree or equivalent experience required
- 2 years’ experience in the mining underground industry with exposure to underhand drift and fill and long hole stoping required
- Knowledge of underground mining methods and design preferred
- Knowledge and experience with underground design tools, specifically Deswik. sched and. CAD and Vulcan preferred
- Strong computer skills required
