UE02 £21,900 per annum - £14.16 per hour (Includes 18% uplift) - (A revised salary range for this grade of £21,978 to £22,134 is planned to take effect from Spring 2024).

The Opportunity:
The University of Edinburgh Hospitality and Events Collection is the commercial arm of the world-leading University of Edinburgh, which includes the conference and events team. We provide a professional operation across a broad portfolio of conferences, meetings and events, from major international conferences to day meetings and prestigious dining events (circa 2,000 events annually), held at venues across the University’s portfolio. Additionally, the team operates a large Outside Catering and Delivered Hospitality service to university buildings and to private and corporate locations across the city.
We are looking for friendly, charismatic and professional individuals to join and strengthen our diverse team. As a Catering and Events Assistant, you will support the operational service delivery, which includes setting up, service, clearing and many other activities for a wide range of conferences and events. You will learn a wide range of skills as well as gain numerous of development opportunities.
