We are inviting applications for a Receptionist and Events Assistant to provide general reception and event support to Informatics staff, students and visitors.
The Opportunity:
The School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh is recognised worldwide as a leading centre of informatics and computer science research, knowledge exchange and teaching. It is one of the largest schools within the university and has grown significantly in numbers of staff, students and income in recent years.
This post is open ended (permanent) and part-time (21.75 hours per week),working 12.35pm to 5.10pm, Monday to Friday.
You will have strong communication skills, experience in a customer service role and an understanding of health and safety. Previous experience working in reception, administrative and/or event capacity is highly desirable.
