Our Clean Harbors facility in La Porte, TX is searching for a Guard Shack Coordinator to join their team. As a Guard Shack Coordinator you will be responsible for working in the guard shack and checking drivers into the facility. Verifying their documentation, PPE and distributing with mail.
Shift: 10:30pm 7:00am pm Sunday-Thursday; alternating Saturdays will be required; OT and additional days as needed. Training typically takes place on a Monday- Friday 6:00am-3:00 pm schedule for several weeks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times;
- Working in guard shack to facilitate drivers who are entering the facility, helping them with Proper PPE and check-in;
- Prints and creates outbound manifests and hazardous waste labels for outbound loads;
- Prepping and distributing mail;
- Organizes and files plant, and truck to truck paperwork;
- Data entry into internal programs;
- Organizes and maintains trailer inventories;
- Filing, typing, and general clerical duties;
- Any administrative duties as deemed required by supervisors.
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
- 1+ years of related work experience preferred;
- Computer skills and knowledge are required;
- DOT Training/Knowledge a plus;
- Ability to work in a team environment and take direction;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
