Performs a variety of technical procedures that result in the creation of microscopic slide preparations. These technical procedures may include: accessioning specimens; specimen processing; microtomy techniques; paraffin, and frozen; and staining. High School Diploma. An associate degree (or higher) is required within 18 months of employment.
