Responsible and accountable for department operations, fiscal/financial management, quality, service, environment of care/safety, risk management, and human resource management. Supports the organizations vision, mission, goals and values.
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred or 5 years related work experience. Experience in healthcare environmental and custodial services required. Leadership experience in diverse, 24 x 7 operations required. Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Basic computer and various software knowledge. Demonstrate leadership abilities. Excellent communication skills. Organizational skills and self -starter. Knowledge of various cleaning, waste management and environmental trades, including equipment maintenance, and employee safety. Experience in healthcare accreditation requirements for the Environment of Care (Joint Commission, DMV, ACHC) is preferred.
